Wow Factor Baseball
Full-Stack Training Session Management Platform
Overview
Wow Factor Baseball needed more than a brochure site — they needed operational infrastructure. We designed and built a full-stack web application that powers the day-to-day management of their training program: session scheduling, player registration, parent-facing booking flows, and an administrative back office — all running in production under HOV & Co management.
What It Does
- Coaches and administrators create and manage training sessions with capacity controls and scheduling logic.
- Parents register athletes, complete player profiles with photo uploads, and book sessions directly through the portal.
- An admin dashboard surfaces player rosters, session attendance, and booking management in a single interface.
- Automated transactional emails — booking confirmations, password resets, account notifications — delivered through a managed sending service.

Diamond Kings Baseball
High-Performance Marketing & Recruitment Website
Overview
Diamond Kings Baseball is a Georgia-based youth baseball academy that needed a digital presence as sharp as their program. We built a focused, five-page marketing and recruitment site that moves prospective athletes from first impression to submitted application — with a fully engineered email delivery stack behind the scenes to ensure every application lands in the inbox.
What It Does
- A purpose-built site architecture: Home, About, Values, Join (application portal), and Contact — each page designed to move a visitor closer to commitment.
- A player application pipeline: the Join page collects structured athlete data and routes submissions directly to the program director via a secure server-side handler.
- A complete transactional email infrastructure — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and custom sending domain — purpose-built for reliable inbox placement.
- Hosted on HOV & Co infrastructure with DNS managed on HOV & Co nameservers, giving the academy full-stack ownership without third-party dependencies.
Engineering
Technical Architecture
Intentionally framework-free — no build toolchain, no cold-start overhead. Sub-100ms TTFB from the CDN edge with near-zero maintenance surface.
A server-side request handler processes form submissions, validates inputs, and dispatches notifications — decoupling the email transport layer from the front-end entirely.
Transactional email routed through a managed sending service with a custom sending domain configured for full SPF alignment — not a shared provider domain.
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC deployed at full enforcement — every authentication header passes on every send. Aggregate reporting monitored for ongoing deliverability health.
DNS managed entirely on HOV & Co authoritative nameservers. All records — mail routing, authentication selectors, and policy — administered and maintained centrally.
Domain verification added to Google Postmaster Tools for ongoing visibility into Gmail deliverability reputation and spam rate metrics.
Deployed to HOV & Co managed hosting infrastructure with automated backups and secure remote deployment.
